She was predeceased by: her parents, Geza Kopunovics and Terez Kopunovics (Valasek). She is survived by: her son István-Pista (Stephen); her spouse Imre Szántó; her daughter Ildikó (Carlos Rigney); her daughter-in-law Éva Szántó; her grandchildren, Attila Santo-Rieder (Susanne), Csongor Szántó, Noémi Szántó and Anna Rigney; her great grandchild Aurelia; her sister Margit Kuzek; and her sister-in-law Magda Kopunovics. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice of South Texas.
