He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Lassmann and Louise Lassmann; his wife Margot; his son-in-law Roberto Menjivar; and his stepdaughter Inge Wilkins.
He is survived by: his children, Melinda Menjivar and Jeffrey Lassmann (Rachel); his stepchildren, Edith Grueneberg Garcia and Ralph Grueneberg (Pam); his grandchildren, Alicia Cabral, Alexis Menjivar, Nicholas Menjivar (Hannah), Mateo Menjivar, Cheyenne Barnett, Derrick Lippe (Monica) and Dillon Lippe (Alicia); his great grandchild Jackson Cabral; and his pet Jake.
