He is survived by: his wife Jane Yanez Armstrong; his son Jessie Evan Armstrong III (Brenda); his son-in-law Brent DeDear; his grandchildren, Dylan DeDear, Seth Hall, Evan DeDear, John Scott Armstrong (Jessica), Kathlynn Armstrong, Hayden DeDear and Bethany Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Landon Mayer, Miles Armstrong, Scarlett Martin and Autumn Armstrong; his siblings, Mary Jones of Gonzales, TX, Joan Britton (Charlie) of Colona, IL, Thomas Armstrong (Mary Anne) of Saint Louis, MO and John Armstrong (Lisa) of Gonzales, TX; his stepchildren, Jason Martinez, Jamie Martinez and Julie Murphy; his stepgrandchildren, Anastasia Acajosi, Daniel Martinez, Madison Martienz and Emily Martinez; and his great grandchildren, Ryu Acajosi and Emiri Acajosi. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
