We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2022, James Kenneth Payne (Vega, Texas), born in Butler, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Wilson Payne and Erma Bartrum Payne; his son Mark Payne of Dumas; and his sister Doris Jean Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Marie Hewkins; his son James (Tammy Payne); his grandchildren, Josh Payne (Brooke) of Ft Worth, TX, Amber Burt (Jay) of Lindale, TX and Andrew Payne (Brittany) of Roanoke, TX; his great grandchildren, Emma, Austyn, Annemarie, Nolan and Evelyn; and his brother Harry Lee Payne (Janetta) of Elk City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
