He was predeceased by: his parents, Consuelo and Rafael of Vega; his brother Nelson of Vega; and his daughter Nancy Cook. He is survived by: his children, Nancita (Nancy Jr) and Hectico (Hector Jr); his wife Nancy of Vega; his sister Marta Esnaola; his sons, Hector of Vega and Charles of Vega; his daughter-in-law Linda of Vega; his daughter Vivian Buesking; his son-in-law David Buesking; and his grandchildren, Sean of Vega, Ryan of Vega, Jennifer Haines, Candice Watters, Michelle Buesking, Sharon Buesking, Cody Moore, Zachary Moore, Joshua Moore, Alexander of Vega and Gisella of Vega. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
