He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Otto and Doris Fae Marquardt (Stump); and his brother Lester Marquardt. He is survived by: his daughters, Judith Ann Stark (Alan) of Garland Texas and Laurie Marquardt of Adel Iowa; his brother Gordon Marquardt of Adel Iowa; and his grandchildren, Jason Stark, Casey Cunningham, Tait Cunningham, Megan Christensen and Taelor Christensen (Jimmie Pirillo).
