He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hix and Jimmie Lovey Perry; his parents-in-law, John Howard and Mable Ruth Adams; and his sisters, Jewel, Merle, Grace, Ella, Doris and Opal.
He is survived by: his wife Cordell Adams Perry; his daughters, Janice (Michael Thomas), Renee (Pat McPherson) and Denna Perry; his grandchildren, Christi, Roger, Jason, Ryan, Eric, Angie, Evan, Becca, Ashley, Nick, Tiffany and Brandon; and his great grandchildren, Braden, Luke, Hope, Rider, Riley, Sierra, Landon, Sadie, Sloane, Bonnie, Rhett, Annie and Miller.
