He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Murphy and Lilly Gibbs Murphy; and his sisters, Esther Robinson and Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Murphy of Grand Saline; his children, Mike Murphy of Tyler, Matt Murphy of Houston, Jim Murphy of Edgewood and Lisa Crouch of Mesquite; his stepchildren, Heath Snow of Grand Saline and Christy Wood of Grand Saline; and his brother Billy Murphy of Marietta. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and friends.
