He is survived by: his wife Mary Montee; his children, James Stanley Kruase-Montee and Bert Marion Montee Jr.; his siblings, Judy, LInda, Maxine, Sylvia, Jim, Vance and Ted; and his grandchildren, Coleman, Dalton, Madison, Zabe and Alana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Hospice of East Texas.
