She was predeceased by: her mother Lilian Jones. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her son James (Elaine); her grandchildren, William, Emma and Jacob of West Monroe; and her sister Jean (David) of Fredericksburg. She is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters in-law whom she considered siblings as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations can be made to the Joshua Project, the building fund, at First Baptist Church of Van Alstyne, Texas.
