She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Lee (Chandler) and Luther Lee Whitehead; her son Robert M. Anderson; her husbands, Merwin A. Anderson and Leslie J. Carter; and her stepsons, Willis Carter Sansom and Dennis Lee Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Anderson (Denise) of Santa Clara and Michael Anderson (Janie) of Racine, Wisconsin; her stepchildren, Janice Power of Lago Vista, Barbara Pratt of Moody, Leslie Carter of Little River and Gene Carter of Temple; and her siblings, Carolyn Neff of Bandera, John Clark of Uvalde and Joe Clark of Houston. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
