She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Mason, Sr.; and her grandparents, Telésforo Coronado, Alfredo and Guadalupe Sanchez. She is survived by: her parents, Roberto I. Sanchez (Maricela) of Uvalde and Florencia Vera (Juan) of Uvalde; her children, Aysha Renah Ruiz (Carlos) of Batesville, Bryon Alexander Mason of Uvalde and Thomas Robert Mason, Jr. of Uvalde; her sisters, Anna Sanchez of Houston, Melissa Ortez of Houston, Cheyanne Vera of Uvalde and Cecilia Coronado of Uvalde; her stepsisters, Yolanda Velasquez of Uvalde, Mona Nevarez of Uvalde, Sue Ellen Vera of Uvalde, Griselda Sanchez of Uvalde, Mary L. Castillo of Sequin and Mary Garza of Brackettville; her brother Robert C. Sanchez; her stepbrother Ramon Vera of Uvalde; and her grandchildren, Mateo Manuel Mason and Cataleia Gregoria Ruiz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
