She was predeceased by: her parents, Victoria Flores (Lara) and Andres Flores; her husband Manuel H. Sanchez; and her siblings, Epifanio Flores, Ruben Flores, Luz Flores and Jesusita S. Fernandez.

She is survived by: her children, Juan Sanchez of Garland, Carolina Sanchez and Yolanda Ortiz (Hector) of Uvalde; her siblings, Luis Sanchez (Estella) of Uvalde and Rosa Reyes of Uvalde; her grandchildren, Keyna Ortiz (Omar) of Uvalde, Misti Rios (Osvaldo) of Uvalde and Hector Ortiz Jr. (Laura) of San Antonio; and her great grandchildren, Ycela Ortiz, Hector Ortiz III, Brandon Ortiz and Alyza Ortiz.
