Kendra Lee Wood, 65 of Uvalde died September 10, 2022 at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital in San Antonio.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. A Chapel Service is set Thursday, September 15, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home and Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
She was born on May 20, 1957 in San Antonio to Amy Melton Gray and Norman K. Gray.
She is survived by her husband Stephen Wood of 45years, Sons; Stephen Jr. and wife Marjory Wood of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Justin Neal and wife Yana Wood of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Daughters; Ginger Rae and husband Daniel Schramm of Winter Haven, Florida, Rebecca Lynn Wood of Sioux City, Iowa. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren; Stephen Wood III, Camilla Wood, Rachelle Lynn Wood of Fort Polk, Louisiana; Anthony Medrano and Wife Jennifer, Meagan Medrano, Matthew Medrano of Winter Haven, Florida; Caleb Velasquez Jr., Christian Velasquez, Cyrus Velasquez, Z'Riyah, Adalynn Mae Shannon of Sioux Falls, Iowa. One Great-Grandchild Enzo Elias Ray Medrano of Winter Haven, Florida.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Wood Jr. of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Justin Wood of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Sergio Quiroz of Uvalde, Texas, Tommy Vaughn of Uvalde, Texas, Cyrus Velasquez and Caleb Velasquez of Sioux Falls, Iowa.
