She was predeceased by: her parents, Miguel Martinez and Herminia Rios Martinez; her son Eduardo De La Cerda; and her siblings, Oscar Martinez, Raul Martinez and Santa Martinez.

She is survived by: her husband Augustine De La Cerda of Uvalde; her daughters, Soledad Contreras of San Antonio, Marisa De La Cerda of San Antonio and Elsie De La Cerda (Richard Diaz) of Pflugerville; her siblings, Richard Martinez of Uvalde, David Martinez of Uvalde, Estela Garcia of Uvalde, Frances Martinez of Uvalde, Irma Mikulenka of San Antonio and Olga Ramirez of Mercedes; her daughter-in-law Lena De La Cerda of Uvalde; and her grandchildren, Jysenia Garcia of Uvalde, Clarissa Contreras of San Antonio, Cassandra Contreras of San Antonio, Christina Contreras of San Antonio, Gabrielle Galindo of Pflugerville and Gloriana Galindo of Pflugerville.
