It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Melton Thompson Jr. (Tyler, Texas), born in Minden, Louisiana, who passed away on July 31, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Melton Thompson Sr. and Lorraine Murphy Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Diane Thomisee Thompson; his son Trey (Susan Thompson) of Tyler; his granddaughters, Mallerie and Laney Thompson; and his sister Sandy (Larry Rabb) of Ruston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
