She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Edgar Foster and Clara Mae Barnett Foster; her sister Jimmie Cairnes; and her grandson Timothy Robledo. She is survived by: her husband Louis Alvarez; her children, Angie Smith, Patricia Reyes, Diane Morales, Louis Andrew Alvarez and Michael Alvarez; her stepdaughter Karen Green; and her brother Bill Foster. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
