He was predeceased by: his parents, Encarnacion Pena and Marcella Pena (Garcia); his wife Aurora Pena (Fernandez); his children, Joe Fernandez and Sonia Comans; and his brothers, Sabas Pena, Alavaro Pena and Luis Pena.
He is survived by: his children, Jesuita "Jessie" Pena of Tulia, TX, Maria DeLaLuz Contreras (Carlos) of Odessa, TX, Zaragoza Pena, Jr. (Rebecca), Tomas Pena (Lisa) of Tulia, TX and Oscar Pena (Patricia); and his siblings, Emilio Pena (Rosario) of San Antonio, Frank Pena of Modesto, CA, Tomasa Guerrero of Corpus Christi, TX and Selerina Ybarra of Robstown, TX. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 20 great -great grandchildren.
