He was predeceased by: his brother Ernest Cantu. He is survived by: his spouse Juanita "Janie" Garza; his children, Sheila Ramirez (Ruben) of Plainview, Norma Bullard (Keith) of Odessa, Jerry Perez (Patricia) of San Antonio and Johnny Perez of Keller; and his siblings, David Mancha, Lopez and Santos Pena. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
