He is survived by: his father Clarence LaVerne Ellerd; his children, Ryan Neal Ellerd (Janet Jones) of Austin and Jennifer Layne Summers (Kyle Summers) of Hobbs, NM; his mother Betty Jean Ellerd of Tulia; his sisters, Vernnetta Gene Ellerd of Comanche and Belinda Ann Giles of Olton; and his grandchildren, Jacob Jones and Jasmine Jones. He is also survived by five nieces and one nephew.
