With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Lee Nelson (Tulia, Texas), born in Brownwood, Texas, who passed away on July 27, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Galbreath and Laura Galbreath; her siblings, Jasper Galbreath, Jr., Laurabell Bailey and Poppy Hulsey; and her nephew Bill Hulsey.
She is survived by: her children, Clay (Kim) of Midland and Gayle (Kevin) of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Chad Nelson of Lubbock, Brent Nelson of Lubbock, Nikki Nelson-Flinn of Lubbock, Nicholas Creed, Leslie Ellis of Fort Worth, Megan Farquhar of Grapevine, Matthew Villegas of Fort Worth, Amanda Adkisson of Cypress, Nicholas Lucas of Midland and Justin Lucas of Odessa; her nephews, Chappy Hulsey, Bobby Tom Bailey and David Hulsey; her niece Janie Burrow; and her great-nephew David Lee Hulsey. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research or a favorite charity in Nancy's Name.
