She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas and Dora Sweeney (Bottoms); her husband W. P. "Sonny" Mayberry May; and her sons, Thomas Mayberry and Walter Mayberry.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Barbara Mayberry and Nellie Mayberry; her grandchildren, Tammie Mayberry, Lea Stukey, Keith Mayberry, Brenda Bayley, Becky Watson and James Castle; her great grandchildren, Sarah Walker, Kendra Stukey, Macey Mayberry, Stephanie Stukey, Kole Mayberry and Seth Mayberry; and her sister Mary Edith Hill.
