It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Cosby of Tulia, Texas, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Addington and Julia Nell Carroll Cosby. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Cosby of Tulia; his daughters, Amanda Watson (JD) of Tulia and Kaci Thompson (Matthew) of Lubbock; his sister Jonell Cosby of Plainview; and his grandchildren, Presleigh Watson, Haddie Thompson, Peyton Watson, Paxton Watson and Cooper Thompson. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
In that spirit, he wanted everyone to know he did not die of COVID. He supported the wearing of masks and hopes that people do all they can to minimize the spread of the virus -- but he asks: "Please, just leave me out of the COVID discussions.".
