He was predeceased by: his parents, Solon Owens and Juanita Owens; his wife Betty Ann Cooper; and his sister Augusta Owens Smith. He is survived by: his son Jed Owens; his daughter-in-law Paula Owens of Tulia; his granddaughters, Aubree McCray (Colin) of Lubbock and Lexee Owens of Lubbock; and his great grandchild Marlee McCray of Lubbock.
