He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurlio Herrera and Eustacia Herrera (Gaitan); and his wife Juanita Herrera. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Blue (James) of Amarillo, Sonny Herrera (Sofia) of Amarillo, Gill Herrera (Amanda Ballin) and Adrian Herrera (Rachel Dominguez); and his siblings, Billy Rosas of Amarillo, Santos Herrera of Lubbock, Grace Perez of Post and Ester Quintanilla of Canyon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
