He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Barnett and Eulah Barnett; his brother Tom Barnett; and his niece Laura Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Karen Barnett of Tulia; his children, Chad (Stacie Barnett), Kyle (Julie Barnett), Brent (Miranda Barnett), Marci (Blake Junell) and Ashley (Nick Miller); his grandchildren, Lacie, Sam, Truett, Millie Jo, Brooklyn, Barrett and Caleb; and his siblings, Brenda Barnett of Amarillo and Ronnie Via of Tulia.
