He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Nolen; and his siblings, Melvin Nolen, Raymond Nolen, Lewis Grant Nolen, Ruby Vaughn, Dorothy Williams and Sue Overton.
He is survived by: his children, Garland Nolen of Bullard, LaRue (Michelle Nolen), Todd (Darla Nolen), Adam Nolen of Tulia, Joy (Melvin Wethington) and Jill (Glenn Ehly); and his brothers, Charley (Jerry Nolen) and John Nolen of Wichita Falls. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and eight great, great grandchildren.
