It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Ray Harris of Tomball, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on November 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Claude Harris and Eliza Fitzgerald Harris; and his sister Mary Jo Hammond. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Harris; his daughter Debbie Dayton; his son-in-law Steve; his sons, David Ashley (Connie) and Keith Ashley; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dayton, John Dayton, Amy Lee (Kyle), Chris Ashley, Madeline Ashley and Ashley Baranowski Lauren (Tim); his nephew Kenneth Hammond; and his niece Kathleen Hammond.
