She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis B. Childs and Lyle Thurman Childs; and her brother John Leo. She is survived by: her husband Bill Brown of Houston; her children, Cheryl (Derek), Brian (Leann) and Meri Kae (Darrell); her stepdaughter Deborah (Frank); and her siblings, Lewis B, Mary Ann (Lynn) and Melvin Wayne (Joyce). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
