She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman R. Long and Shirley Masters Long. She is survived by: her husband Doug; her son Terry Miller; her son-in-law Scott Gentry; her daughters, Andrea Miller and Rhonda Walden; her grandson Eric Walden; her daughter-in-law Trish Walden; her siblings, Norman C. Long (Sara) and Sharon Miruzzi (Mark); her sister-in-law Sheryl Conn; and her great grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, Tyler Walden, Christian Visser, Jacob Laird, CJ and Santos.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in support of The Arc of Greater Houston, a local charity that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
