With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Opal C McLeroy of Timpson, Texas, who passed away on February 16, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Moore and Cora Moore; her husband Garland McLeroy; her daughter Marcia Shaklee; her grandson Gary E Trentelman; and her siblings, Martha Brake, Mildred Joiner, Francis Moore, Alfred Moore and Winfred Moore.
She is survived by: her son Gary H. Trentelman (Neisha) of Wylie, TX; her stepdaughter Tawnya Dornak (Robert) of Sugarland, TX; and her grandchildren, Lance Shaklee (Jennifer) of Yale, OK, Kelley Myklebust (Ogden) of Friendswood, TX, Becky Shaklee of Stillwater, OK, Tabatha Trentelman of Wylie, TX and Valerie McGowan (Brian) of Bernie, MO. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great- great –grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home (511 Ross Graves Dr, Timpson, TX 75975). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the County Line Cemetery (12138 FM 1971, Timpson, TX 75975).
