With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark Curl (Texas City, Texas), who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Curl; his grandparents, Conway, Geneva Bryant, Archie and Pearl Curl; and also Bobby Bryant, Sr..
He is survived by: his mother Elevern Curl of Texas City, Texas.; his children, Mikel (Meggin Curl), Taryn (Travis Sugar), Marcus Curl and Torie Curl; his sister Margaret (Damon Adkins); his grandchildren, Mika Curl, Madalyn Curl, Eloise Sugar, Charlotte Sugar, Margot Sugar and Bentlee Curl; his nephews, Paul Adkins and Steven (Stephenie Adkins); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Trevor, Kiersten, Rylea, Blake and Ty; his aunt Gail Bryant; his uncle Daniel Curl; his cousins, Tammy, Robby Hudson, Bobby, Michelle Bryant, Julie and Russell Knight; and also Kinsley.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Carnes Funeral Home - CTC (3100 Gulf Fwy, Texas City, TX 77591). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery (7301 Memorial St, Hitchcock, TX 77563).
