He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oliver Allen and Charlotte "Lottie" McCurry Allen; and his son Mark David Allen. He is survived by: his wife Ann Allen; his sons, Tony Allen, Craig (Lisa Allen) and Brent Allen; his grandchildren, Patrick (Gina Allen), Paige (Aaron Yates), Christopher Allen, Sivana Allen, Brodie Allen and Emily Allen; his great grandchild Kieran Yates; and his brother Dale (Margaret Allen). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
