It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nell Valentine (Terrell, Texas), born in Kaufman, Texas, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Whittenburg and Mandie Whittenburg; her husband John "Whitey" Wesley Valentine; and her siblings, Lois Johnson, Hazel Garrett, William Edward Whittenburg and Lonnie Douglas Whittenburg.

She is survived by: her children, Dian Burk (Jim), Pam Quattlebaum (Mickey), John Valentine (Lisa) and Kristi Barbosa (Ruben); her grandchildren, Jaime Simons (Rodney), Angela Mason (Ryan), Shelly Pringle (James), John Valentine (Mariya), Trent Valentine (Hannah), Colton Valentine, Alice Bryant, Emma Bryant, Kali Squires and Bryan Squires; her sister Willie Adams; and her sister-in-law Maxine Darst Flatt. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
