We bid farewell to Karel Elizabeth Holloway of Terrell, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 72. Karel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Wesley Umstead and Myra Elizabeth Orr Umstead. She is survived by: her husband Richard Holloway of Terrell; her children, Benjamin Holloway (Amanda McMillian) of Houston, Lorien Stone (Sam Stone) of Tyler, James Holloway (Angela Silva) of Dallas, David Holloway (Aimee Holloway) of Alvarado and Stephen Holloway (Alicia Robinson) of Rowlett; her niece Amie Holloway of Dallas; and her grandchildren, Grayson Holloway, Emma Holloway, Ivy Holloway and Teddy Holloway.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home (1701 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
