It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Loyd of Terrell, Texas, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Hooper and Riley Hooper; his granddaughter Casey Williamson; his niece Misty Loyd Flores; and his great-niece Kassy Beaubien.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his siblings, Walter Loyd of Kemah, Texas, Dr. Darlene Johnson of Terrell, June (Gary Dunsford) and Diane (Tom Johnson); his daughter Charity; his son-in-law Kevin Thornton of Liberty Hill, Texas; his daughter Ronda; his son-in-law Charles Smith of Amarillo; his daughters, Karen Jewell of Terrell and Melody Jewell of Amarillo; his grandchildren, Brandi, Misty, Brandon, Kevin, Krystal and Shane; and his great grandchildren, Kiki, Ace, Cadence, Coda, Kolby, Beckham, Korbin, Bryson, Canon and Nash.
