He was predeceased by: his nephew James. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, David Shelton (Carolina), Robin Lile (Craig), Tammie Bishop (David), Lauren Hargrove (Michael), Amber Chancellor (Carl), Misty Shelton, Jason Newman and Christina Ringhausen; and his niece Debbie Shelton. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
