He was predeceased by: his parents, John Albert and Juanita Irene Coyne (Robinson); his former wife Mary; and his daughter Terri Lea Cason. He is survived by: his wife Akitas; his children, Christy Hood (Paul) of Temple and Michael Coyne (Lori) of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Mason Hood (Erin) of Holland, Megan Hood of Temple, Kaylee Coyne of Mansfield and Loryn Coyne of Mansfield; his sister Nancy Cline of Burleson; and his pet Bob. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First Presbyterian Church of Belton, 2500 Church St., Belton, Texas 76513.
