He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Vernon Lawhorn and Deyon Cornell Akin; and his wife Judy Ann. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin and Eric Lawhorn; his sisters, Janice Lawhorn Williamson (Dick) and Lorie Lawhorn Mann (Glenn); his sister-in-law Donna Dixon Martin (Billy); and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by four nieces and five nephews.
