He was predeceased by: his parents, Joesph Schatz and Hazel Schatz; and his sister Sandra. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his children, Kenny, Angie, Cheryl, Christian, Richard and Shannon. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project, an organization Kurt felt strongly about.
