She was predeceased by: her parents, Eliga Ford and Katie Ford (Hodge); her husband James W. Griffin; her siblings, Jewel Jackson, Nayeola Bookman (Ford), Lenora Johnson, Willie Lee Chappell, Norman Lee Ford, Dan Ford, Eliga Ford and Jasper Ford; and her son Steve Ford.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Lott (Wayne), Rosalyn Hicks (Eric) of Temple, Texas, Kenneth Griffin of Troy, James Griffin (Vicki) of Temple, Ronald Griffin of Georgetown and William Ford (Val) of Cedar Hill, Texas. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.
