He was predeceased by: his parents, Farris Dow Ferguson, Sr. of Hot Springs and Mildred Blackman Ferguson of Hackett; and his sisters, Linda Ferguson and Frances Rivera. He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Ferguson and Patricia Nettles of Boise; his children, Eric Ferguson of Temple, Matthew Ferguson of Visalia and Jill Ferguson-Cerda of Visalia, California.; his grandchildren, John Whetstone, Jedediah Whetstone, Kegan Campise, Job Whetstone and Jennie Whetstone; and his nieces and nephews, Alan Nettles, Melinda Flynn, Leanna Blackmon, Juli Platzer, Nanette Finn, Mandy Harmon, Patrick Ferguson, Aimee Edmonds, Benjamin Ferguson and Sara Gallon.
He went to be with The Lord on May 18, 2024 after a lengthy hospitalization for Covid-19, a Pulmonary Embolism and Critical Illness Polyneuropathy and Myopathy.
