We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 90, Dorothy Taylor of Temple, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Hollenbeck and Rossie Belle Shibley Beaver; her husband Louis Taylor; her son Lawrence Wilson; her grandson Andrew Leister; and her siblings, Edith Preston, Francis, Allan, Herbert and Grant Beaver.

She is survived by: her children, Sherilyn Leister (Cecil) of Temple, TX and Steven Wilson (Terri) of The Woodlands, TX; her stepchildren, Louis Taylor (Bill) and Donna Spellman (Ray); her granddaughters, Angela Leister (Angie) of Corpus Christi, TX, Anne Eason (Cole) of Salado, TX, Tara Brown (Charles) of San Antonio, TX, Jesslyn Wilson and Camille Wilson of Houston, TX; her stepgrandsons, Louis Taylor II (Billy) and Eric Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Leister of Corpus Christi, TX, Nina, Elizabeth Shinn of San Antonio, TX, Michael Shikegawa of San Antonio, TX and Conor Eason of Salado, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alzheimer's Association.
