He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dryden and Frances Elizabeth Burton; and his former wife Vivian Hope Henderson Burton. He is survived by: his wife Captain Sandra F of Temple; and his brothers, Ken Burton (Claire) of Waco and John Burton (Gloria) of Arkansas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Methodist Church of Temple.
