She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Otto and Melissa Jane Linder (Phillips); her husband John William Owens; and her sister Juanita Dillard. She is survived by: her nephew Lynn B. Hillard, Jr. of Houston; and her siblings-in-law, Carolyn Kibodeaux (Paul) of Onalaska and Thomas Owens (Margaret) of Temple. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
