She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Edward Ludwick and Carrie Mae Cargill Ludwick; her daughter Rita Bartlett; her grandmothers, Faye Vanderbogart (Dece) of Killeen, Judy Elizabeth Hunter of Riverton and Pansy Lavern Basinger of Temple; and her husband Troy Crawford Messer.
She is survived by: her sister Dawn Thomasson of Fort Worth. She is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
