He was predeceased by: his parents, Audice Cleon Metcalf and Mamie Jewel Gaskin-Metcalf; his siblings, Jesse Lee Metcalf, Carl B "Tob" Metcalf and Ethel Lavern White; his great-nephew Freddy Dwayne Metcalf; and his granddaughter Sarah Metcalf.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Metcalf of Moffat; his grandson Aaron Metcalf (Sarah); his great grandchild Dustin Metcalf (Jenna); his nephew Roy Lee Metcalf; and also, Kayla Underwood (Bryan), Brian Honeycutt (Madison), Bailey Metcalf (Shelby), Hailey Metcalf and Trevor Honeycutt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
