He was predeceased by: his father Jose Gomez Sr.; and his brother Joe Gomez Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Leobijilda Gomez; his children, Gerardo Hernandez, Alfredo Gomez, Jr. and Veronica Arianna Gomez; his siblings, Jesse Gomez, Albert Gomez, Julie Ramirez and Mary Ann Muse; and his grandchildren, Carolyn Jennifer Hernandez, King Karanun Meadows, Kashton Dior Gomez, Kamairi Sy'aire Gomez, Paula Gomez and Jenesis Aldridge.
