He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Manuel Maldonado and Luisa Maldonado (Martinez); his son Guadalupe Maldonado; his siblings, Bene Maldonado, Abelino Maldonado, Lupe Maldonado and Juana Alvarado; his wife Aurora Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; his children, Manuel Maldonado, III of Port Lavaca, Oscar Maldonado of Sinton, Ruben Maldonado (Lorenza) of Sinton, Kevin Maldonado of Taft, Texas, Jessica Maldonado of Portland, Tracy Fuentes (Rudy) of Taft, Daisy Maldonado (Marshall Gonzales) of Corpus Christi, Elsie Cancino (Marty) of Sinton and Betsy Maldonado of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his brother Santos Maldonado (Angie) of Taft, Texas.. He was also cherished by 29 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
