She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Aurelio Gomez and Paula Gomez (Alvarez); her husband Dionicio Ortiz; her daughter Dominga Vasquez; her granddaughters, Savannah Gonzalez, Bridgette Aguero, Brittney Aguero and Brianna Aguero; her siblings, Domingo Gomez, Luis Gomez, Ignacia Gomez, Aurora Gomez and Micaela Aguirre; her children, Dionicio Ortiz, III (Irma) of San Antonio, Jerry Lee Ortiz, Sr. (Denise) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Janie Flores (Frank) of Taft, Texas, Sandra Ortiz of Taft, Texas, Diana Ortiz (Beck) of Portland, Texas, Yvonne Gonzalez of Courtland and Delia Rodriguez (Hector); and her sister Hortensia Hernandez of Taft, Texas. She was also cherished by 27 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
